VIII IBERO – LATIN AMERICAN
FIRE SAFETY CONGRESS – CILASCI 8
Santander April 8 – 10 2026

The Ibero-Latin American Fire Safety Congresses (CILASCI) are held biannually. They aim to bring together researchers and experts to disseminate their scientific and technical work in the field of fire safety from Portugal, Brazil, Spain, and other Latin American countries, integrating the various stakeholders involved in this area of knowledge. The next edition, CILASCI 8, will be held from April 8 to 10, 2026, in Santander. It is organized by the GIDAI research group of the University of Cantabria, which has been developing research activities related to fire safety for more than 25 years.
All papers submitted for oral presentation at CILASCI 8 will be reviewed by renowned international researchers and technologists who make up the Conference Scientific Committee. Those accepted will be presented at one of the conference sessions by one of the authors, who will share their research with the other speakers, with the aim of generating scientific and technical debate and promoting knowledge exchange within the fire safety community.
